Art Gallery of New South Wales

  Art Gallery of New South Wales  The Art Gallery of New South Wales, was founded in 1874 by Dr Michael Brand. It is known because of it’s extensive collection of Australian, European and Asian aboriginal art. It’s the most important public gallery in Sydney and one of the largest in Australia.  After visiting is, I realized that work of art that really drawn my attention was the Castle Upnor, River Medway. It was made on 1833 by Joseph Mallord William Turner. It was an English painter specialized in landscapes. He was born in 1775 and he died in 2851. It was considered a controversial figure in his time., but also, one of the best painters of landscapes.  I choose his work of art because all the little details that contains. The castle, the incredible ancient ships,  the dog, the fisherman’s and the little city we can see far away from the coast. I apreciate a lot, all the effort, strength and time he had to invert to create such a beautiful and realistic paint...

The Bahamas 🇧🇸

  The Bahamas are known for being one of the most popular tourist destinations, because of it’s clear weather, pink sand beaches and the marine life.This city became a common wealth the 10th of July of 1973. The Bahamas have competed at fourteen Commonwealth Games. Since their appearance in 1954, athletes from The Bahamas have won thirty four medals at the Games, which is considered a lot.  They usually play there games like, athletics, basketball, baseball, American football, swimming, softball, tennis, boxing and volleyball. Bahamas proudly hosted the VIth Commonwealth Youth Games from 18-23 July of 217. Over 1.000 athletes visited the Island and it was the largest event the Bahamas had ever hosted .  Perhaps sport it’s really common in The Bahamas after they became part of the Commonwealth Games, there are many incredible things you could also do. Sydney Opera House

 The Sydney Opera House is a great architectural work of the 20th century that brings together multiple strands of creativity and innovation in both, architectural form and structure. Jorn Utzon a Danish architect and Peter Hall were the inventors of this masterpiece. They started building it in 1959 but it wasn’t till 1973, when they inaugurated it. It’s one of the most famous places in Sydney, not only because is a performing arts centre, but also, because of the complex and almost impossible form it has.  Due to his popularity, nowadays , they offer many different activities and experiences to do and to learn about this Opera House. Such as, a walking tour. This tour of the Sydney Opera House, allows you to step beneath the sails of the building, which also includes exploring it with an insider guide, who shares stories and fun facts about the Opera House’s history. The Queen Victoria Building

 Welcome everyone! Today I visited one of the most interesting and famous buildings of Sydney. The Queen Victoria Building. This building was built between 1893 and 1898 and nowadays you can either book a 45-minute walking history tour to explore and learn about the Romanesque design, or walk through all the luxury shops that the building contains. After meditating about it, I decided to do the second one, and it resulted to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I walked thought so many espectacular stores, that were too expensive for me. However, all of them were beautiful. The one who drew all my attention, was the Jurlique store, a beauty & skincare shop.  This brand is known for its use of natural and organic ingredients.
