AC/DC
Podcast
Hi everyone, welcome to my podcast. Today we are going to talk about the impact of one of rock's greatest bands. A band that defines rock 'n' roll: AC/D.
AC/DC Formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, is considered one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. The band quickly became history in the hard rock and heavy metal, mostly because of their unique style. Their music was the most epic, high-energy rock sound people could ever hear— it was something that was raw, loud, and new. That’s AC/DC. Their music is built around heavy guitars, pounding drums, and screaming lyrics. Their first big break came with the album High Voltage, which led them to becoming rock legends.
They had been rising in fame, with albums like High Voltage and Highway to Hell, but just as they were at their best, a tragedy happened. Bon Scott, their original lead singer died because of an alcoholic coma, after a night out. With his death, everyone thought that the Goods of rock would never play again. However, they replaced Bon Scott with Brian Johnson, and came back with Back in Black. Although the new singer wasn’t as good as Bon Scott, the album ended up being one of the best-selling records of all time.
They were also famous because of their wild personality and love for partying, wich didn’t bring any good. AC/DC didn't care much for trends or changing their sound to fit the times. they also weren’t into the celebrity life, keeping to themselves and always staying together.
Even after the long time that had passed, nowadays this incredible group is still filling up stadiums, because of the massive influence they have had and continue having. Have
you ever listened to one of their songs?
